A charity devoted to creating a better quality of life for sick, unwanted and mistreated animals. The animals rely totally on donations made by the public, GG is a non-profit making charity and 100% of the money raised is spent on the animals currently in their care.
Jill Rollo founded "Goatsgalore Animal Sanctuary", non- profit making registered charity No. 1104566, devoted to creating a home for sick, unwanted and mistreated animals.
'I rely totally on public support to raise funds. All of the animals are provided with a safe and secure environment.
This is a private sanctuary currently providing a home for 75 animals: 2 horses that are 40 and 25 years old and can no longer be ridden and require ongoing medical treatment, 57 goats, 2 sheep, 5 lambs and a variety of poultry.
As a registered charity we want to promote humane behaviour towards animals, which are in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill usage. To educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals by offering free and impartial advice as and when required. Animals will be offered for re-homing on an on loan basis, this will allow the animal to be returned to the sanctuary if the need arises and ensures it has a home for life.
We receive phone calls from the public on a regular basis asking for advice.'
