Team_PhotoLadies BRFC had a great achievement as winners of the Redditch Touch Tournament held on Saturday 28 August 2010.  Plans are in motion for a similar tournament to be held at Bromyard Rugby Club in the near future.

 

 
Dog Fouling

Herefordshire Council is going ahead with plans to introduce a number of Dog Control Orders but has decided, because of public feedback, not to proceed with one type of Order that would have made it a requirement to keep dogs on leads across a wide variety of open spaces in the County. Instead, that Order will be progressed to cover only council-owned cemeteries.

Free Folk Music Concert in Bromyard 9th September 2010

Sessions4There is a free concert this coming Thursday - TODAY!!!  as a curtain raiser for the 2010 Bromyard Folk Festival. It is in the Falcon Mews, the banqueting hall at the back of the Falcon Hotel on Broad Street in Bromyard. Doors open at 8.00, music will stop at 11.30.

This is is now available on CD from The Honeypot in The Square and aslo directly from Nonny on 07809-102494. Nonny told bromyard.info  'This all started a few months ago when Margaret Dallow was organising an auction of promises to raise money for the Gala.  I donated an evening of entertainment.  Sylvia 'bought' me (as she so quaintly put it!).'

Charity appeals after lorry failure.

Equine Market Watch, a horse rescue charity, from Bromyard has launched a desperate appeal for replacement transport after its lorry broke own.  Elaine Tasker, EMW spokesperson said the lorry was a lifeline that was used to rescue horses and pick up vital supplies.
